IBA President Umar Kremlev met with President of Israel Isaac Herzog. The two leaders discussed the development of boxing in the country.

During the meeting, Umar Kremlev told about the current situation in boxing in the world. Herzog said that he constantly watched the fights of Muhammad Ali and other boxing stars of the 70s with his father.

The father of the incumbent Israeli leader, the 6th President of the country Mr. Chaim Herzog, used to be a successful boxer.

Authorities should give more support to the sport, including financial injections. Israeli President promised that more attention will be given to boxing.

Kremlev stressed that the more free-of-charge boxing gyms are opened in the country, the better results young people will be showing. These actions will also help to bring kids from the street and give them an opportunity to develop via sport.
