The consultation process relating to AIBA new Constitution draft continues on the occasion of webinars with Q&A sessions
November 25th, 2020 / IBA
The draft of the AIBA Constitution was presented to the National Federations during series of webinars for each of the five Confederations held on November 20, 23 and 24, 2020. More than 65 National Federations in total joined the webinars and had a chance to make comments and raise questions during dedicated Q&A sessions.
AIBA Legal Counsels made a presentation and explained the purpose of the reform and highlighted the work done by the AIBA Reform Commission.
During the Q&A sessions, the Attorneys answered dozens of questions and clarified each raised issue in detail.
Those sessions are the last round of consultation of National Federations with respect to the complete reform of the AIBA Constitution, a process that started more than one year ago. The draft Constitution, as well as a list of main changes and the presentation made to the National Federations, are published on the AIBA website on the Congress dedicated section.
The draft Constitution approved by the AIBA Executive Committee – as well as possible suggestions of amendments made by National Federations – will be further discussed and presented on the occasion of the next AIBA Congress on December 12, 2020, before being voted by the Congress.
