Dear Boxers and Friends,

I am delighted to share with you an important milestone for AIBA.

As you may have already heard, last week we delivered our second report to the IOC executive board. Yesterday, it was a great honour for us to welcome IOC’s recognition of AIBA’s progress.

April was a very important month for our organisation which was highly focused on the IOC delivery report and the development of the ‘New Foundation Plan’.  Countless efforts were made by the Executive Committee and staff, and AIBA is now harvesting the fruits of its hard work!

The next months ahead AIBA’s leadership will continue to work hard in implementing positive changes at all levels. The new AIBA is ready to showcase the best of boxing and the Olympic values. We must not lower our guard but keep moving forward in the right direction!
