Open call for candidates for the IBA Committees

Further to the Governance Reform Group recommendations and in the interests of our continuous organizational restructure and improvements process, IBA Board of Directors has established the following to serve as IBA Technical and Management Committees:

Marketing Committee;
Competitions Committee;
Refereeing and Judging Committee;
Coaches Committee;
Champions and Veterans Committee;
Diversity Committee;
Medical Committee;
Member Federations Committee;

IBA and the Board are extremely pleased to announce the call for candidates to the above-mentioned IBA Technical and Management Committees. IBA is also seeking nominations from Oceania for the Strategy Committee.

We encourage affiliated members, boxers, clubs, coaches and competition officials, to ask for those potential candidates to submit their application(s) to be considered to serve as a member of those IBA Committees. We actively encourage you to submit multiple candidatures from your country to open up a wider pool of applicants for consideration. It is IBA’s intention to achieve gender equality and parity within each of the respective committees.

Eligibility rules have now been aligned with the Constitution, with integrity checks having been adopted and applied for the respective Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of each committee.

To apply, please submit the attached forms (one form per candidate and per committee) together with the information and supporting documents listed in each form, to the IBA Head Office at committee@iba.sport no later than August 24th, 2022, 18:00 CET (Central European Time). Applications will not be accepted after this date.
