IBA.Pro 3 showcase comes to Ufa
April 24th, 2025 / IBA.Pro

Ufa in Russia is ready to host IBA.Pro 3 on 25 April, featuring title matches between six and 12 rounds, at the Sports Training Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan Wrestling Palace.
A solid 12-round bout is set to be contested by Russia’s Pavel Sosulin and Lucas Brian Bastida from Argentina in the super welterweight division for the WBA Gold world title and IBA Intercontinental title. Sosulin (12-0) has had a great start to his professional career, remaining unbeaten with half of his victories coming by stoppage. Last year he defeated Turkish boxer Fatih Keles and Uzbekistan’s Kudratillo Abdukakhorov in IBA events. His last win came in Armenia when he knocked Filipino Carlo Bacaro in the third round.
Bastida (22-3-1) is the one more experienced of the two and is set to feature in his first IBA event. His last win came in October when he beat Bohdan Sobol of Ukraine in Riga in the eighth round by knockout.
Also featuring on the card is an eight-round welterweight fight between Russians Danis Gabdrafikov and Alexander Khokhlov. Gabdrafikov previously featured at IBA Champions’ Night in Ufa on two occasions, where he beat Cameroon’s Jean Junior Messi Elime by majority decision and Mongolia’s Misheelt Battumur by a unanimous decision. Khokhlov (3-0-1) remains undefeated too, last winning by knockout over compatriot Mikhail Tarkhanov in December.
In the 63.5kg division, Tamerlan Ozdoev of Russia (2-0) and young Indian boxer Vivek Singh (7-0) are to face off over six rounds in an IBA.Pro ranking match. Ozdoev defeated Mouhamed Oumarou of Cameroon by a majority decision in January in Moscow, while the 19-year-old Singh’s last win came in August, knocking out a seventh-straight opponent.
Artur Subkhankulov of Russia (9-0) meets Ibrahim Balla from Australia (17-2), with the IBA Pro Intercontinental and WBA Oceania lightweight titles on the line. Subkhankulov has been impressive in his professional career to date, easing past Hungarian Roland Galos in Ufa in August, as well as defeating Abdurasul Ismoilov of Uzbekistan in February by a unanimous decision.
Also on the card, Russian Bekkhan Israilov is set to make his professional debut against Azerbaijan’s Mahammad Abdullayev. Abdullayev competed in his first IBA match at IBA Champions’ Night in Baku in September, where he defeated Cristian Salcedo by a split decision.
Finally, Azalia Amineva of Russia (2-0) is set to compete professionally in Ufa for the third time, this time against Brigitte Mbabi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (3-0). Amineva previously defeated Rehema Abdallah of Tanzania and Raj Sahiba of India. For Mbabi, she is to compete outside of the DRC and neighbouring Republic of the Congo for the first time – but has won all her matches by early stoppage.
