District Court of Lausanne upholds decision to remove AIBA EC member Terry Smith

The District Court of Lausanne made the ruling on 24 August to uphold the decision to revoke Mr. Terry Smith’s position on the AIBA Executive Committee in application of the AIBA Statutes and Bylaws. The original decision to withdraw his position had been contested by Mr. Smith, a challenge which has been found groundless by the Court confirming AIBA’s arguments and conclusions. Mr. Smith will no longer be considered a member of the EC with immediate effect.
