International Boxing Association (AIBA) announces a modification in the dates and location for European Olympic Qualification tournament, which will now take place on 7-18 April  in Samsun, Turkey. The change of dates and venue took place in boxers best interest in order to extend the rest period for women boxers, who will be competing in AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan on 19-27 May, as well as for men boxers, who will be competing in APB/WSB Olympic Qualifying Event (Sofia, Bulgaria) and AOB Final Olympic World Qualifier (Baku, Azerbaijan).  European Olympic Qualification tournament will have 30 quota places for men boxers and 6 quota place for women boxers to qualify to Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
