First seeded defending World champion from Cuba Erislandy Savon meets with Nikoloz Begadze after the Georgian defeated rival from Romania with split decision 3:2.
Russian #5 seeded Muslim Gadzhimagomedov rival of 1/16 final is Berat Acar from Turkey.
David Michalek from Slovakia had split decision win against Mongolian. Next round he will face a serious rival – Olympic Games medalist Vassily Levit from Kazakhstan.
Victor Schelsraete form Belgium KO’d Konstntin Pinchuk from Israel in the first round. His next rival is Cheavon Clarke from England.
Brazilian Abner Teixeira Da Silva won unanimously Deivis Julio Blanco from Colombia. He will face #2 seeded Sanjar Tursunov from Uzbekistan.
Julio Cesar La Cruz, four-times World and Rio Olympics champion in light heavyweight, also learned his rival. He meets with Mohamed Houmri form Algeria who defeated Salman Hamadah from Saudi Arabia with the RSC in second round.
Sammy Lee from Wales won in 1/32 round and faces #8 seeded Georgii Kushitashvili from Russia.
German Ibragim Bazuev, #4 seeded, fight with Swiss Uke Smajli next round. #3 seeded Abdelrahman Salah Orabi form Egypt meets Shabbos Negmatulloev from Tajikistan.
Benjamin Whittaker form England on his first fight goes to ring against Ehsan Rouzbahani from Iran.
Azerbaijan hope Loren Alfonso Dominguez meets Spanish Gazimagomed Jalidov, who won his first fight in the first round.
Next round of 1/16 for the weight categories 81 kg and 91 kg is scheduled for September 15.
