AIBA Coaches Certification Course for AIBA Pro Boxing (APB) and World Series Boxing (WSB) has been a resounding success with 51 coaches attending the course. Over the course of five days of intensive physical and theoretical training in Asissi (Italy) the participants have learned about the key developments in boxing, which are aimed at a professional coaching in APB and WSB competitions and practical lessons on how to train their boxers with experiences in different boxing styles.

AIBA believes that coaches are essential at every level of boxing and for their boxers’ professional growth. Every coach plays a vital role in developing and supporting boxers to reach their potential. Therefore a dedicated course is held for APB and WSB competitions on a regular basis to improve the coaching skills for those, who will be preparing the boxers for these competitions. Just as boxers continuously improve in order to be successful, so do the individual coaches and the whole of coaching system of AIBA competitions.
