Alvarez and Yeraliyev are ready to rock at the featherweight in Ekaterinburg

Cuban Lazaro Alvarez and Kairat Yeraliyev from Kazakhstan are the top favorites for the men’s featherweight category (57 kg) at AIBA World Boxing Championships in Ekaterinburg, Russia. They can face each other in an explosive final making outstanding show for all the boxing fans, but before they need to overcome four other talented rivals.
Russian hope Albert Batyrgaziev meets next fight with Bulgarian Boyan Asenov who defeated Slovenian with unanimous decision. One of them can face Alvarez in the 1/4 final round. But before Cuban should face Jean Caicedo from Ecuador.
Yeraliev serious challenge can happen in 1/8 where Chatchai Butdee is aiming to go after first unanimous won. But first Kazakhs hope need to overcome Yoel Finol Rivas from Venezuela.
The round of 1/16 for the featherweight is scheduled on September 15.
