AIBA President receives honorary degree from Saint Petersburg’s prestigious Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health

In recognition of AIBA and President Dr Ching-Kuo Wu’s continuing work for the grassroots of boxing, Saint Petersburg’s Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health presented Dr Wu with an honorary degree on the first day of the Youth World Championships in the city. In the spirit of AIBA’s HeadsUp initiative and its focus on education, sustainability and preserving boxing’s core values, it was a prestigious award from one of the country’s most highly regarded universities, whose professors and graduates have included 115 OIympic champions.
