On the eve of the biggest match in the entire history of boxing at all levels between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, Dr Ching-Kuo Wu, the President of International Boxing Association(AIBA), the world governing body of the sport of boxing, would like to congratulate the determination of both boxers in showcasing boxing at the highest level as this is greatly contributing to the increase of the awareness of our sport worldwide.

Dr Wu’s views on the match are “AIBA has devoted its efforts to develop the sport of boxing in all its forms and at all levels worldwide. We have been looking for a momentum to outstand our sport among all international sports and this match has formidably supported these efforts.” He continued “Floyd has competed in an AIBA program and Manny wishes to support all current AIBA programs. I have a great belief that the sport will soon unite all global boxing family, fans and boxers under one roof to strengthen the position of boxing in our society. We will strive to reach this goal and these two boxers have already boosted the image of boxing to a different level”.

The AIBA President wishes and salutes the success of this big match and requests that all AIBA boxing family witnesses this historical moment tomorrow.
