AIBA Executive Member Pat Fiacco, Honorary Chairman of the R&Js commission Terry Smith, AIBA staff and database contractor gathered in Lausanne from Wednesday January 15^th to Friday 18^th for a series of discussions in preparation of the upcoming Executive Committee Meeting which will be held in Istanbul on February 8^th and 9^th. Amongst the topics on the agenda, a review of the technical Rules & AOB Competition rules and guidelines and ORIS competition-related issues were discussed.

During the meeting, the team also discussed the world ranking and seeding of the boxers and the changes in the uniform which will come into effect this year. Additionally, enhancement of the database and the bout protest rule were carefully reviewed, as well as proposals of new rules, which will all be placed on the agenda for approval in February from the newly elected EC members. The group also reviewed and agreed with the 21 observations of the PWC report and developed strategies for implementation of each.
