40 nations will compete for the medals in the EUBC Youth European Boxing Championships

The European Boxing Confederation, the American Boxing Confederation and the Asian Boxing Confederation hosted championships in recent months. The next major competition is the EUBC Youth European Boxing Championships which will be the highlight of the upcoming days.
The new edition of the EUBC Youth European Boxing Championships will take place in the Bulgarian capital Sofia where the first competition day starts on April 14. The finals will be held in two sessions on April 21 when 25 boxers will be earning their gold medals in the EUBC Youth European Boxing Championships in Sofia.
The Bulgarian Boxing Federation already hosted the Strandja Memorial Tournament and the Emil Jechev Youth Memorial Tournament in 2022 and their third international competition is the EUBC Youth European Boxing Championships.
Excluding the reserve boxers, 402 athletes registered to attend the upcoming EUBC Youth European Boxing Championships in Bulgaria. The women and men talents will represent 40 countries in Sofia which is higher than the previous years.
This event is a preparation for the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships which will feature later this year. Boxers who were born in 2004 and in 2005 are eligible to attend the EUBC Youth European Boxing Championships in Sofia.
The women boxers can compete from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the heavyweight (+81kg) while the male talents from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg).
