Medical & Anti-doping Committee
The Medical and Antidoping Committee is tasked with medical issues related to boxing, in particular issues related to the health and safety of boxers.
It provides expertise, knowledge and advice with respect to the care and follow-up treatment of boxers in and out-of-competitions. It deals with matters related to the development of the IBA anti-doping program.
It consists of eight or more members: the chairperson of the medical and anti-doping committee from each Confederation, at least two medical doctors with expertise in medical issues related to boxing, and one person with expertise in anti-doping.
