Newly established Czech Boxing Federation celebrates its first national championships

City of Krnov, Czech Republic hosted the inaugural edition of the national boxing championships organized by new IBA provisional member, the Czech Boxing Federation (ČFB).

More than 170 male and female boxers from 20 clubs of all age groups took part in the competition. The Czech Union of Sport and the mayor of the town of Krnov, as well as the governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region were among the esteemed guests of the competitions present on-site.

‘Everyone praised the excellent organization and the perfect sporting event,’ ČFB President Stanislav Ivanov said. ‘We thank all the guests and supporters for participating in this event and we also greatly appreciate the IBA for accepting us as a provisional member, which we are constantly trying to prove that we are doing a lot of work for boxing in the Czech Republic.’

The event featured a range of bouts that showcased the talent and dedication of Czech boxers. The thrilling bouts of the championships were a testament to the hard work of the athletes and their coaches.

The IBA congratulated the Czech Boxing Federation on hosting a successful event, expressing optimism for the future.
