The AIBA Family deeply regrets to announce the death of Mr Tomis Papak who passed away on June 8^th in Bulgaria. Mr Papak was a former Yugoslav Boxing Champion and officiated in AIBA tournaments for more than 25 years. One of his last major tournament was the Athens Olympic Games, where he was Head of the Jury.

Mr. Papak received a life membership in Boxing Australia in recognition of his efforts in furthering the interests of boxing. On behalf of the AIBA Family, we would like to convey our sincere condolences to the family.
